The Journey is over

 So we spent most of our time at the Falls on the Brazilian side. The Brazilian side only has 20 % of the falls so although spectacular not as beautiful as the argentinean side. We set off on day 1 for a small hike along the walkway to view the Devils Throat where water from the 2 rivers converge.  At the end of the hike there was a walk way out across the river to view better. Amazing amount of water crashing over the falls.  The falls are only fed by rainwater and this is the end of summer so the falls are lower than normal   This will make our zodiac boat ride a little more challenging 

We then take an elevator to the boat launch. Good news is I don’t wall in with boarding   I will still need to get out of the boat!  The zodiac boat was a lot like river rafting but there are actual seats. There are probably 25 to 30 people on board.  The pilot travels up river with some minor bouncing.  Of course the assistant is busy with his go pro camera getting before shots and plans to up day with after shots.  When we reach some of the smaller falls he drives the boat into the falls. The boat and everyone in it is drenched.  There were a couple of people that forgot to remove their hearing aides. This created problems and they were looking for dry rice at the hotel. 

The rest of our day after lunch was ours. We decided to use the pool. The weather is warm, humid but not really hot.  It was great to get back to dry clothes. I don’t think we really anticipated how wet we would get.  Dinner at the hotel and we leave to head back to Argentina the next day and home the following day
