Leaving Brazil
Good news a late start to the day. We leave the area and a stop at the heliport. 9 of us was to do the helicopter ride. The weather slowed things down a little so it took a while to be able to board. The ride was very short only 10 minutes and only over the Brazilian side but spectacular views Back across the border to Argentina and a stop at the 3 country post where Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina converge along 2 rivers, lunch a drive to the airport to fly back to Buenos Aires We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 meet 8 others of our group for a snack and alcohol it is our last night in Argentina
Repacking took 90 minutes and a good thing we are not flying coach or we would have been paying more. We head to the Japanese Garden which was beautiful A challenge to get there since we had to take a taxi and none of the drivers spoke English and they had to accept US dollars which they did. Seems the U S dollar is more secure than the Argentinean Peso. Getting back to the hotel was a little more challenging but after trying 3 different cab drivers it worked. We over spent since we had no Pesos but a $5 cab ride is unheard of that is for sure. A quick stop to unload packages and the small hike to the bookstore then a stop at the ice cream shop our bus leaves at 5pm for by trip to the airport and heading home back to reality tomorrow
