Arrived

Our flights had one connection in Atlanta. I had never been to Hartsfield Airport. It actually seem smaller than Dallas and Chicago inspite of being the busiest of US airports. The change in terminals was easy. One train or a 25 minute walk. I wonder??   We get to the gate as they called our boarding group. Unfortunately the plane remained at gate for 35-40 minutes after scheduled departure.  Arrival was only 15 minutes late but customs was empty. The only thing we had to do was scan a qr form and fill out a survey. This of course posed a problem. We had Dan’s phone only doing international on a daily rate the free wifi in the airport would not open up the mandatory form required by Chile that needs to be completed and kept with your passport so consequently Dan will have cell service for one day(so far).  Of course the food and drug sniffing dog decided there was something in my backpack although they never found the contraband and Dan had to go though secondary we think because of the cpap but the inspector never found anything. All in all smooth through customs and past all the taxi touts to arrange for taxi to hotel.

Challenge 1 our driver spoke no English and my Spanish was not good enough to communicate although I was able to figure out he brought us to the wrong hotel   Error quickly rectified   We get to the hotel and the lack of sleep gods were watching out for us   Our room was ready and they let us occupy it  Nap time awaits
